A compact, light and easy-to-use high-performance LED flash for both DX-format and FX-format DSLR users.

• Fixed 24mm Coverage. Enables flash coverage for lenses as wide as 24mm on full-frame, or 16mm on crop-frame.

• AA Powered The SB-500 is powered by 2x AA batteries (not included) and gives you about 100 flashes with alkaline batteries / 140 flashes with rechargeable Ni-MH. Depending on the batteries used, it has recycle time of 3.5-30 seconds.

• Video Light.
  High-performance LED light is incorporated that is effective for movie recording and close-up still shooting. The LED light provides output of approx. 100 lx, the highest-class brightness among products using two AA-size batteries. There are 3 levels of output to choose from, and a diffusion panel for softening the light.
